Most clients hosting with us (other than self-managed) benefit from daily backups generated and held at the datacentre.
Historically (since last server migration) these have included all website files plus databases, and the backups have been retained for 30 days.
We are pleased to announce that the following enhancements have been made for all clients that benefit from daily backups:
- Database backups are now retained for 60 days
- Mailboxes held on our servers are also backed up and retained for 30 days (previously there were no formal mailbox backups)
Clients with WordPress websites managed and hosted by ourselves also benefit from regular off-site independent backups with some samples retained for up to 12 months. Clients using our older platforms are reliant on the datacentre based backups alone.
Clients are reminded to check that all is well with their websites on a regular basis so that any issues can be dealt with in a timely manner and minimising any data loss.
